Sea Harrier FA2

Developed from the Harrier, the Sea Harrier was developed to be an all-weather fighter aircraft for the Royal Navy. A number of modifications were made to the design to better suit naval operations included a raised cockpit with a "bubble" canopy for greater visibility, an extended forward fuselage to accommodate an air to air radar and a significant number of parts being changed to use corrosion resistant alloys to protect against corrosion. The Sea Harrier FA2 was withdrawn from service by the Royal Navy in 2006. The example which will be on static display at the Air Show is currently housed at RAF Cosford, but is on loan from RNAS Yeovilton.
