Harrier GR3

The Harrier is perhaps one of the most iconic Royal Air Force aircraft of all time, due to its ground-breaking vertical take-off and landing capabilities. The Harrier GR3 was utilised by the Royal Air Force as a ground attack and reconnaissance aircraft in the Close Air Support role throughout the Cold War. The type proved itself in combat operations too, with deployments to the Falklands War and to support British forces in Belize. The Harrier GR3 will be on static display at the Air Show, as part of our Battlefield Support theme.
