Hughes OH-6 Loach
The OH-1 (officially named Cayuse) was the military development of the Hughes 500 helicopter which first flew in 1963. It was used by the US Army for personnel transport, attack missions, and aerial observation. The type is still in service with the US Military today, as the MH-6 Little Bird, and is used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. The aircraft appearing at the Air Show is Loach G-OHGA which is owned and operated by MSS Holdings (UK) Ltd. The Loach will perform a pairs display with Huey G-UHIH as part of a Battlefield Support set-piece in the Flying Display.
