RAF Cosford Air ShowSunday 13 June 2010

The Midlands premier Air Event

RAF Cosford Air Show is one of the country's top aviation events attracting thousands of people of all ages to a day of wonder, excitement and entertainment every year with the proceeds of the event going to RAF and local charities.

The world-famous Royal Air Force Aerobatics Team - The Red Arrows - is always one of the most popular performances at the event as well as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and spectacular displays by aircraft old and new.

There will be non-stop entertainment on the ground with hundreds of exhibits, colourful stalls and trade stands, military demonstrations and road shows - plus food, craft fair, bands, children's entertainment and much more.

All of this makes the air show an attractive day out for all ages and interests from aviation enthusiasts to families seeking a fun day out. The RAF Museum's full facilities, including the new National Cold War Exhibition, will also be open to visitors at the air show.

Nearly 60,000 visitors came to RAF Cosford for the 2009 air show and we aim to make this year's event just as entertaining.

Cosford is served by a regular train service to a station alongside the RAF base and combined rail and admission tickets can be purchased from Arriva Trains Wales  from 1 May. There is also ample free car parking available on the airfield on the day.
